Description#
The DART spread is the financial difference between the day-ahead (DAM) and real-time (RT) markets for the same hour and location. Each series is one of the three CAISO trading hubs (NP15, SP15, ZP26). The day-ahead leg is the hourly DAM LMP; the real-time leg is the hourly mean of the four 15-minute RTPD LMPs in that hour. Positive values mean day-ahead priced above real-time delivery. The PacifiCorp WEIM/EDAM nodes (PACE, PACW) are excluded: they belong to external balancing authorities and are priced separately.
